The members of Ohio’s Board of Professional Conduct elected Stark County attorney David L. Dingwell to serve as the Board’s Chair for 2017. Dingwell, a partner of Tzangas Plakas Mannos Ltd., was elected at the Board’s December 9 meeting.
The Board of Professional Conduct is a 28-member quasi-judicial body appointed by the Supreme Court of Ohio that consists of 17 lawyers, seven active or retired judges, and four non-lawyers. The Board adjudicates complaints of misconduct involving judges and lawyers, issues ethics advisory opinions, advises judges and lawyers on ethics compliance, and hears cases involving mental illness of judges and lawyers.
