The Reality of Law Clerk Jobs
Within their first few months, our law clerks are entrusted with work commonly seen from first- and second-year associate attorneys, with the supervision and guidance of one of our lawyers. Such work regularly includes research on complex legal issues, drafting motions for current cases, attending depositions and court hearings, and giving oral arguments to the firm, Plakas Mannos law clerks are invited to explore the day-to-day lives of real-world lawyers. Elisa is a second-year law student at The University of Akron School of Law. She has an interest in medical malpractice and wrongful death. Outside of classes and clerking, she serves on the Executive Board for the Akron Law Review, and trains for half-marathons.
