CANTON, OHIO: Tzangas Plakas Mannos Ltd. partners Lee Plakas and David Dingwell were named to the 2020 “Top 50 Cleveland Super Lawyers” and the “Top 100 Ohio Super Lawyers” lists. 
The designation sets both attorneys apart as leaders in the state and region. Only 5% of attorneys in Ohio receive the Super Lawyers designation. Attorneys on the top lists earn their place by ranking highest during the Super Lawyers selection process.

Plakas has earned the Super Lawyers designation since 2004. His practice areas include commercial litigation, wrongful death, medical malpractice, unfair business competition, employment law harassment and discrimination, personal injury, products liability, intellectual property, sports law, environmental litigation and energy, oil and gas. Plakas has represented clients in a broad spectrum of cases, winning multiple million-dollar verdicts. His $44 million victory in Gibson’s Bakery v. Oberlin College was the largest defamation verdict in Ohio’s history. He has been in practice since 1976 after graduating from the University of Akron School of Law.
Dingwell’s practice areas include probate and estate planning and litigation as well as employment litigation. He has earned the Super Lawyers designation since 2009. He also serves on the Ohio Board of Professional Conduct and was the board’s chairperson in 2017 and 2018. Dingwell was born in Boulder, Colorado and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas. He then received his law degree from the University of Akron School of Law.
