Per the Court Order entered by Judge Stuart A. Friedman of the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, the Executive Committee has the authority to control and prosecute all aspects of the consolidated proceeding.
Tzangas Plakas Mannos Ltd. has offices in both Akron and Canton, and litigates complex medical cases throughout Ohio. The failure of University Hospitals to preserve and protect these frozen eggs and embryos has affected couples not only in the Cleveland Metropolitan area, but also couples throughout the region which includes Summit, Stark, Medina, Portage, Trumbull, and other neighboring counties.
Attorney Oldham stated, “What happened to these families is horrific. It never should have happened and medical providers need to understand that this can never happen again. We are committed to doing everything in our power to send them this message.” She continued, “our firm is honored and proud to be entrusted by our clients to be their voices in this case.”
Attorney Plakas added, “Our firm is pleased to have been appointed to the leadership executive committee in this case. Since our firm was founded over 60 years ago, we have instilled in our attorneys the principle of aggressively representing our clients and guarding their rights, and we will bring those values to the table in this multi-party, multi-attorney proceeding.”
